Media is definitely portraying the budget to be well above 100c. But its not too hard to believe it considering the expenses it could have incurred.

Puli is a high budget Indian Tamil Movie, the total budget of the movie is around Rs. 118 Crore.

So if they are willing to say the budget was over 100C to hype the film, they could easily make up a number now as their collection to save face. Everything the producer side has been saying is utter nonsense and the sole purpose is to fool the public.

I dont understand why Vijay fans are trying to make a flop movie as a "hit" or "super hit" by cutting down the production cost! I never thought they will try such cheap tricks when the whole world know the TRUTH about the outcome!

This always happens. For Linga, during the pre release it was said that movie had fetched more than 200Crores even b4 release, which includes sat.rights.

then singaravelan too said the same thing in interviews that they have made more than 200Crores incl sat.rights, there is no probs for them to return 25crores for loss settlements.

then Rockline venkatesh denied the 220crores number said by singaravelan.

1) 3rd day itself, the video of Radharavi scolding twitter and online audience who criticize and make fun of Linga, got released

2) 4th day itself, KS Ravikumar's baloon interview "புடிச்சா பாரு புடிக்கலைனா வெளிய போ” interview came and feeded ppl to make memes on that

Which means the too bad negative result spread like wildfire on 1st day itself and 2nd day itself it was concluded. Infact i saw some pics of "குறைந்தபட்ச கட்டணம்” posters posted in some towns, 3rd day itself. இப்படி இருக்குறப்ப 100 crores in 3 days shud be biggest comedy. Even total collections wont be 100 crores i guess

So called Singaravelan's video came on 7th day morning only, becos some ppl claim that his video only caused damage( LOL!) but the audience response/WOM, Radharavi Speech KSR Interview, itself done enuf damages. Singaravelan just exposed it and confirmed it. If not Singaraelan, Linga total collections wud be atleast 500Crores!
