***From Akshay Kumar to Rajinikanth: Amy Jackson to romance Thalaiva in 'Robot 2'

Shankar's Robot packed in quite some punch at the box office with the unusual pairing of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan working wonders for the film. Now, we hear Shankar is already planning for the sequel to Robot aka Enthiran titled Robot 2 (also Enthiran 2 down South). And while numerous names were doing the rounds, it's now almost confirmed that Amy Jackson will play the leading heroine to Thalaiva in the film.

A source reveals, "Rajni sir will be reprising his role of Chitti from the original and this time, the film will be bigger and better." And who's coming on board? "Arnold Schwarzenegger will be playing the villain in the film and he's already given his nod."

And who's the leading lady? "Amy Jackson. Shankar has worked with her in his last film I and he feels she is the best possible choice for the film. She has also heard the script and has loved it." Amy seems to be having a dream run now, given that she's been applauded for her role opposite Akshay Kumar in Singh is Bliing and will now be seen sharing screen space with India's biggest superstar ever.

What about the other names that were speculated? Deepika Padukone? "Shankar never approached Deepika for this film," the source confided.

So the stage is set and it's Rajni and Amy for Enthiran 2. Are you ready? ***

It is funny all north indian media and folks call rajini as "தலைவா" these days! I guess credit goes to "SRK"!

***Arnold Schwarzenegger to star with Rajinikanth in Shankar’s ‘Enthiran 2’
Filmmaker Shankar has added Arnold Schwarzenegger to the cast alongwith Rajinikanth for the film's sequel 'Enthiran 2'.

By now, we all know how the megastar Rajinikanth took everyone by storm with the south based Shankar directed ‘Enthiran’ (which was dubbed in Hindi as Robot). After reported yesterday that Amy Jackson would feature in the sequel, we hear that Shankar has added another mega star to star alongwith Rajinikanth for the film’s sequel ‘Enthiran 2’. And the ‘powerful’ mega star is none other than Arnold ‘The Terminator’ Schwarzenegger, who will be flying down for to India in January for 25 days to shoot for the film.***
