how more cruel can a govt get? in order to wipe out some 1000 militants they are ready to risk entire 50k civilians lives.......

There is an increasing call for Tamils worldwide to boycott all visits to India. I don't have any idea how much revenue the Indian government makes from the tourism industry, but a strong protest needs to be sent.

i think India deserves watever punishment it gets - how messed up can one's foreign policies be.........

As I mentioned earlier, I met a gentleman from London , refugee of 83 massacre, he says everyone is shocked to see Indian govt's betrayal. He said they could understand if India did not intervene, but not digest the fact that India is supplying arms and providing inteligence to kill innocent civilians. If Indian Defence and govt had this much guts, why dont they try to launch offensive into POK? Sure they are going to find far more worser sadistic terrorists than LTTE there who are plotting day in and day out how to kill innocent indians travelling in buses and trains. Idhu oru pozhaippa? idhukku thaana adhigaaram, padai, IAS IPS officers? vetkam illai maanam illai, Kaedu ketta pozhaippu.

Most letters published in that page have come from Karnataka (with a known issue against TN and have often officially and ruthlessly attacked innocent people in Bangalore in the name of Kaveri, mimicking the SL gov). They cannot be expected to have much concern for the suffering ones in SL anyways.

By selectively publishing them, The Hindu is exhibiting its bias as well as similar unconcerned attitude for the predominantly elderly, women and children trapped in the war zone.

he along with some directors will court arrest trying to protest with a black flag or something. what else can anyone do? vote dhaan irukkulla? adhai ozhungaa pottaale podhum. indha electionla turnout atleast 60% melayaavadhu irundhaal dhaan indha vishayathil voice irukkum. sometimes I feel that sitting in USA I dont know what the pulse is of people of TN. I hope all that X TV, Y TV, reality shows and mega serials have not made them dolls of consumer research.

இலங்கையில் அப்பாவித் தமிழர்கள் வாழும் பகுதிகளலும் பாதுகாப்பு வளையம் என்று ராணுவம் சொன்ன இடங்களிலும் விமானப் படையின் விமானங்கள் கண்மூடித்தனமாக குண்டு வீசித் தாக்கியதை அமெரிக்க செயற்கைக் கோள்கள் எடுத்த படங்கள் உறுதி செய்துள்ளன.

இது தொடர்பான படங்களை அமெரிக்க பாதுகாப்புத்துறையான பென்டகன் 'லீக்' செய்துள்ளது.

ஐ.நாவுக்கு அமெரிக்கா தந்துள்ள இந்தப் படங்கள் மூலம் இலங்கை அரசும் ராணுவமும் அப்பட்டமான மனித உரிமை மீறல்களிலும், வார் கிரைம் எனப்படும் போர் நேர கொடும் குற்றங்களில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளதும் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Unosat என்ற செயற்கைக் கோள் எடுத்த படங்களுடன் இது தொடர்பான அறிக்கையை ஐ.நாவிடம் அமெரிக்கா தந்துள்ளது.

பாதுகாப்பு வளையம் என்று ராணுவமும் இலங்கை அரசும் கூறியதை நம்பி அங்கு குவிந்த சுமார் 1.5 லட்சம் தமிழர்கள் மீது விமானங்கள் மூலம் இலங்கை தாக்குதல் நடத்தியது. குறிப்பாக 3.5 சதுர கி.மீ சுற்றுவட்டாரத்துக்குள் பயங்கர குண்டுவீச்சு தாக்குதல் நடந்துள்ளது.

ஆனால், கடந்த பிப்ரவரி 12ம் தேதி முதலே இந்தப் பகுதியை பாதுகாப்பு வளையம் என அறிவித்ததோடு, இங்கு எந்த தாக்குதலையும் நடத்தவில்லை என ராணுவம் கூறி வந்தது, இப்போதும் கூறி வருகிறது.

ஆனால், ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தின் 19ம் தேதி வரை இந்தத் தாக்குதல் நடந்துள்ளதை செயற்கைக் கோள் படங்கள் உறுதி செய்துள்ளன.

இந்தப் படங்களை ஐ.நாவிடம் தருவதற்காக மட்டுமே அமெரிக்க பாதுகாப்புத்துறை வெளியிட்டது. ஆனால், அது வெளியிலும் லீக் ஆகிவிட்டது.

இந்தப் படங்கள் மூலம் இத்தனை காலமாக இலங்கை அரசு உலக நாடுகளை பொய் சொல்லி ஏமாற்றி வந்துள்ளது உறுதியாகிவிட்டதாக அமெரிக்க மனித உரிமை இயக்கத்தின் தலைவரான பீட்டர் பெளஸ்கார்ட் கூறியுள்ளார்.

இது குறித்து கருத்துத் தெரிவிக்க இலங்கை விமானப் படை மறுத்துவிட்டது.
