tamil people have died in 1000's, are dying in 1000's and no hope of rehabilitation, equal rights for survivors.......congress election-la thoathha enna jeichha enna........what did BJP do as a opposition? they have the best orators, they could have torn apart congress with this issue......but they havent - dont we understand the importance of this issue for them??? avanga vandhalum onnum urupudaadhu......i have realised this now.....each political entity in India has a major share in this killing either by "just talking" or "not talking at all".......its such a suffocating feeling that India is a part of this genocide......if anything, people should boycott this election to show solidarity.....

முதலில் ,பாரதிராஜா தலைமையில் இந்த பரப்புரையைப் பொறுத்தவரை அவர் தெளிவாக விளக்கியிருக்கிறார் .யாரை ஆதரிக்கக்கூடாது என்று தான் சொல்லப்போகிறார்களே தவிர யாரை ஆதரிக்க வேண்டும் என சொல்லப்போவதில்லை .எதிர் தரப்பினர் வந்தால் மட்டும் என்ன ஆகிவிடப்போகிறது என்கிற உங்கள் வாதம் சரி தான் .ஆனால் இப்போது நோக்கம் அதுவல்ல .

இன்றைக்கு வரை இந்த பிரச்சனையில் பல அரசியல் கட்சிகள் ,குறிப்பாக தேசிய கட்சிகள் ,அதிலும் குறிப்பாக காங்கிரஸ் காட்டி வந்த அலட்சியம் ,அதற்கு ஒரு படி மேலே போய் வஞ்சக எண்ணத்தோடு ஒரு பக்க சார்பாக நின்று செய்து காட்டிய துரோகம் எல்லாமே தமிழக தமிழர்களில் ஒரு சிலர் மட்டும் கரடி மாதிரி கத்துவார்களே தவிர வெகுஜன மக்கள் இதை ஓட்டளிக்கும் போது ஒரு காரணியாக கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள் என்ற ஒரு அசாத்திய துணிச்சல் தான் காரணம் .. அந்த தைரியத்தில் தான் இன்று இலங்கை அரசாங்கமே இந்திய அரசுக்கு பாராட்டுப்பத்திரம் வாசிக்கும் வரைக்குமான துரோகத்துக்கு கொஞ்சம் கூட பயப்படாத துணிச்சலை அவர்களுக்கு கொடுத்திருக்கிறது .

இன்றைக்கு யாரும் எதிர்பாராத நிலையில் ,மக்கள் மத்தியில் இதன் தாக்கம் இருக்கிறது என்பது உளவுத்துறை தகவல்கள் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு தெரிய வந்தவுடன் அதனால் தங்களுக்கு பாதிப்பு வந்து விடுமோ என பதைபதைக்கிறார்கள் . இலங்கை அரசு - புலிகள் என்ற இரட்டைக்கோணத்தைத் தாண்டி அப்பாவி மக்கள் அனுபவித்து வரும் கொடுமைகளுக்கு கூட மனம் இரங்காத மத்திய அரசை மக்கள் புரிய ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்பது அவர்களுக்கு தெரிய ஆரம்பித்து விட்டது ..இதை முழுதுமாக பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ள காலம் காலமாக இருந்த தனது நிலைப்பாட்டை ஒரே நாளில் மாற்றிவிட்டு ஜெயலலிதா இந்த விஷயத்தை கையில் எடுத்தார் . என்னதான் தன் சுயநலத்துக்காக காங்கிரசுக்கு பல்லக்கு தூக்கினாலும் எவ்வளவு தான் தன்னை திட்டினாலும் தமிழுணர்வாளர்கள் தனக்குத் தான் ஓட்டுப்போடுவார்கள் என்ற குருட்டு நம்பிக்கையில் இருந்த கலைஞர் விழித்துக் கொண்டு உண்ணாவிரதம் -போர் நிறுத்தம் என உச்சகட்ட நாடகத்தை நடத்தினார் .

ஆக இத்தனைகாலம் இந்த பிரச்சனையில் அரசியல்வாதிகள் மனப்பூர்வமாக இறங்காததற்கு காரணம் இது ஓட்டுக்கான காரணி அல்ல என்பதால் தான்..சென்றமுறை 40-க்கு 40 என அள்ளிக்கொடுத்த காரணத்தினாலேயே ஆட்சிக்கு வந்த காங்கிரஸ் அந்த மாநில மக்களிடம் பொய்சொல்லி ஏமாற்றிக்கொண்டே செய்ய வேண்டிய துரோகத்தை செய்து கொண்டிருந்திருக்கிறது .. இப்போது அது பாடம் படிக்க வேண்டும் .தமிழ் மக்களை கிள்ளுக்கீரையாக நினைத்தால் தூக்கி எறிவார்கள் என்பது மட்டுமே நாம் கொடுக்க வேண்டிய செய்தி இப்போதைக்கு ..இதனால் பயனடைபவர்கள் செய்வார்களா செய்ய மாட்டார்களா என்பது இப்போது பிரச்சனை அல்ல . அவர்கள் ஏமாற்றினால் முன்பு போல தமிழர்கள் இளிச்சவாயர்களாக இருக்க மாட்டார்கள் என்ற செய்தி எல்லோருக்கும் கிடைக்க வேண்டும்.

இதுவரை பாராளுமன்றம் என்றால் காலம்காலமாக காங்கிரசுக்கு வாக்களித்து வந்த தமிழக மக்களை கேவலமாக நடத்தி வஞ்சகம் செய்த காங்கிரசுக்கும் ,அதற்கு வக்காலத்து வாங்குபவர்களும் பாடம் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டியது அவசியம் .பாடம் கற்றுக்கொடுக்க வேண்டியது மானமுள்ள தமிழர்களின் கடமை.

True. But consider this: a vote for the DMK does not necessarily mean a vote for Cong. If BJP is the likely winning combination in the centre DMK will shift alliances post-poll and take part in that government. (I somehow feel this is what is going to happen). On the other hand, a vote for the Left Parties is likely to lead to a re-election of a Cong govt.

So one should ideally vote based on the parties in one's constituency than the alliance.

These parts in the article are the most painful:

India never wanted to supply offensive weapons to Sri Lanka which is the very reason why the Sri Lankan government went after China, Pakistan and Iran in the first place. Having 65 millions Tamils in India, it will be difficult for India to give offensive weapons to kill the Tamils in Sri Lanka.



However, India faces a real threat from China and Pakistan in it's own backyard. Sri Lanka has always maintained good relations with India.



In order to look after it's interests in the region and to deal with the threats from China, India had come up with the clever idea of providing with intelligence and military expertise to Sri Lanka.



Many Sri Lankan ministers have recently acknowledged that they wouldn't be winning the war without the help from India.



There are reliable reports that many Indian soldiers are fighting along with the Sri Lankans on the front lines in Vanni. Several intelligence and military experts from India are helping fifty thousands of Sri Lankan soldiers to cause so much damage in the Tamil Land.



Even the so called medical professionals sent by India to Vanni to treat the wounded Tamils are mostly intelligent officers who are more interested in gathering information from the Tamil civilians than treating their wounded.



This is not because India hate the Tamils and love the Sinhalease but they are not ready to see Sri Lanka going into the hands of China and Pakistan. More than seven hundred Indian fishermen were killed by the Sri Lankan Navy within the last few years but India is willing to sacrifice even their own for a greater gain in the region.

India is a looser. India has made a historical blunder by assisting the Sri Lankan government to commit genocide against Tamils. Once the war is over, Sri Lankan government will go after China and Pakistan as they did before. India has now lost credibility both among the Tamils in Sri Lanka and India.



India would have been in a better position if they helped the Tamils to establish a prosperous secular state in order to free them from State oppression and to secure Indian strategic interests in the region. Even now, it is not too late for India to change it's mind.

Fortunately for Gandhiji, he is taking rest, peacefully. He wouldn't have imagined that the freedom that he fought for will fall into the hands of such criminals. I just wonder what worse would have happened to SL Tamils (or TN Tamils for that matter) if British continued to rule India...
