Super Share raj_musing! Enjoyed a lot. Always happy to hear when someone speaks high of Raja sir's composition. Karumbu thinna kooliya...
But why Kalpana is singing? She is already a professional singer and even sung for various music directors. She rendered Kavithai Kelungal excellently far far ahead of other contestants performance. I could hear exactly like VJ singing that song. She even expressed her desire to sing for Maestro recently in 'Manathodu Mano'. It seems Raja gave her only chance in 'Poda Poda Punnaakku'. She should get more chances from Maestro.

AravindMano, Good to know this. Thanks! I felt she sings well compared to other singers in recent times. She demonstrated her versatility in 'Manathodu Mano' program. And no problems in her thamizh diction too. She should get her credit. Hope she will.

I just checked my copy of Julie Ganapathy mp3, it says 'Thanni Konjam' song is by Prasanna. This is not the male V Prasanna. It seems she (Prasanna) sang 'meho meho' part in mudhal mazhai song in Bheema.
But I also found now, few other songs sung by Kalpana for Maestro mostly during the same Julie Ganapathy period (2003), which again makes me believe that Julie Ganapathy song is also sung by her, but not sure.
