Didn't realize Mounamana Neram had such depth and thinking behind it, especially the association with primary characters. Thanks Jai for your post.
App - The scene you mentioned is my most favorite part in that song. Beautifully picturized song that did full justice to the music.

In the director-40 video I saw IR too picking out this song when he addresses the Telugu directors (and what a nice response from them also - getting up, acknowledging the praises etc, showing nice honor to IR).

For a music lover, using Hungarian musicians may be a feast, but i doubt the market success of such a venture. Let us hope this movie breaks the jinx. This is the only high profile movie that IR has got in recent times.

1. pazhassi rAjA already broke than "jinx". So, fear not
2. AK is hardly a "high profile" movie (i.e. compared to PR / pA). Actually it's a low-cost-quick-prod by Gautam Menon (much like Shankar doing low-cost movies with Balaji Saktivel & others)

why are we....
Folks,
Why are we bothering about High/Low-profile movies. Didn't he give his best in the 80's(still he is)with all the crappyness around? Let him use musicians from Hungary or from India. For me what matters is the output and his recent works are emotionally overwhelming. Lack of original musicians in India is worrying factor for the people who use them ,Isn't?

fan_ir,
Very true. When you get some great musicians from Hungary or whatever, will that not solve the 'synthesizer' problem which everyone cribs about. And as a_e mentions, this movie can hardly be called high profile. And btw, a_e, even 'Paa' had musicians from Hungary and the music was lovely and well appreciated by everyone.
