Nerd,
Why did you post the samples?
It's very tempting, but could not listen here at office. Have to wait till evening.

You should bring earphones to the office!
Anyway the thanjai selvi song is sure for the thiruvizhaa at the end of the film. The Raja sir song is for the real kudhirai + azhagarsamy + kids. And IIRC, Saranya Mohan character was not there in the novel. The duet is for azhagar-saranya I think.

Heard All the three songs .... but y only 3 songs ??
1) 01. " Kuthikkira Kuthikkira..."
Singers: Dr. Ilayaraaja
Lyricis: J.Francis Kiruba
Awesome number sung by the maestro himself.... Sir has tweaked his voice to suit the character I guess...very enjoyable song actually...and for sure, u ll smile at the end of the song and you know why when u hear it...Raja sir , Hats off !!
2. " Adiye Ivale ..."
Singers: Thanjai Selvi, Snehan, Lenin Bharathi, Hemambika, Murugan, Iyyappan,Master Regan, Senthil Doss, Anita & Female Chorus
Lyricis: Snehan
Thiruvizla song......few dialogues are exchanged between the characters before the songs starts...gud one, but now a days lot of songs pops up in this genre...Thanks to parutheeveran and subramaniapuram....So I didnt find anything exceptional here...May be I couldnt find...!
3. "Poovakkelu..."
Singers: Karthik & Shreya Goshal
Lyricis: Yugabharathi
Wow..stands out..pick of the album.....soothing duet from Raja sir....Karthik and Shreya excels here , probably the best voices in India for a Duet number...
Overall, A very kutti album from maestro and as usual a job well done from him... but still IMO this doesn't surpass Nandhalala ... may be I shldnt compare both the albums as the muvies are of various genres... but wot to do, am a typical tamil cinema luver....

I have a sneaky feeling that Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai will click. Trailer and Raja sir song very good. Suseendran a gutsy guy. 3 Cheers 2 him
Seems trailer is out. Hope someone uploads it in youtube. The album, albeit short is THE album of the year, so far. Keeps getting better with every listen

IR had only good things to say about Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai in his Kumudam interview. Have never seen him talking about the films he works. Seems he is really impressed
Watching it on first day
