Dear Mr. SoftSword,
Very happy to note that you too are a fan of the great Sachin. However, my happiness got doubled when I further note that you have been fortunate to watch 3 great NT movies in the last 3 days, continuously.
In fact, I would recommend a minimum of 150 movies for you to watch and enjoy NT and the max. is 305 (total no. of movies NT acted); but, it would be fitting that a veteran like Mr. Pammalar started indicating the list and hence, that will be ultimate. Please follow what Mr. Pammalar advises.
Regards,
R. Parthasarathy

Dear Mr. SoftSword,
This will be most difficult question, even God may not be able to answer, as I, not only as a sincere NT fan, but, also as a person who happened to watch most of the brilliant performance of all the thespians in the film world (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Hindi & English) feel that NT cannot be compared with anybody. Most of the veterans of veterans across the globe have already declared NT is the only Artiste who performed a variety of roles with equal ease, passion and composure than anybody. This is what makes him the most special and gifted Artiste.
Instead, let us continue to watch and enjoy NT perform.
Regards,
R. Parthasarathy

My all time favorite movie is "Karna" =>
1. Encounter with Indhiran
2. Diplomacy scene in the King's court
3. Refusal of a "post" in the War
4. (not for NT but for NTR => Assurance to Arjuna)
(My another Favorite movie is MayaBaazar )
Nice List, have watched them all. As I had posted somewhere in HuB that we got to urge the govt. or an assosiation to Re-Master these classics and screen it to the world audience. (Not talking about VHS to VCD or VCD to DVD but a quality sound and image mastering but not to be colored. The B&W tone is the best to watch anyone perform notably NT) .
SS, you can start with these (in any order you wish) "Thiruvilayadal", "Navarathiri", "Gnana Oli" & "Pudhiya Paravai".
