I repeat even today Tamil movies are no better than Kannanda or Telugu( * exception are low budget movies) , The only reason tamil movies standout is becuase of packaging and extra bells and whistles (for which you need deep pockets). TFI has successfully demonstrated that they can sustain this commerical format better than any other south indian lang period.

This is how the argument started. Care to tell me 5 Kannada films in the last 6 years that could rival tamil fims? No. of bonafide hits in the last 6 years?
