சென்னை: கடந்த ஒரு மாதமாக உடல்நலக் குறைவால் சிகிச்சைப் பெற்று வரும் ரஜினியின் சிறுநீரங்கள் சரிவர இயங்காமலிருந்ததால், அவருக்கு 5 முறை டயாலிஸிஸ் செய்யப்பட்டது.

இதனால் அவரது உடல்நிலையில் நல்ல முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக மருத்துவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

இந்த முன்னேற்றம் காரணமாக, அவருக்கு தரப்படும் டயாலிஸிஸ் சிகிச்சையை நிறுத்தலாமா என ஆலோசனை செய்து வருகின்றனர் மருத்துவர்கள் என தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

இதற்காக நேற்றும் இன்றும் அவரது ரத்தத்தில் சேரும் உப்பு, பொட்டாஷியம் மற்றும் கிரியோட்டினின் அளவு கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ரத்தத்தில் இவற்றின் அளவு சாதாரணமாகவே இருந்தால், அவரது சிறுநீரகங்கள் வழக்கமான நிலைக்குத் திரும்ப ஆரம்பித்துள்ளதாக அர்த்தம் என்கிறார்கள்.

அப்படி ஒரு நிலை இருந்தால், சிறுநீரகங்கள் ஆரோக்கியமாக செயல்பட மேல் சிகிச்சைப் பெறுவதற்காக ரஜினி லண்டன் செல்வார் என்று தெரிகிறது.

Plans afoot for ROBOT-2

It has been only about six months since Rajinikanth’s Robot (Enthiran) released and news of the film’s sequel is already doing the rounds. Director Shankar is expected to start work on the script after he wraps up the Tamil-Telugu remake of the Aamir Khan-hit, 3 Idiots.
Special effects technician V Srinivas Mohan, who won his third National Award for Robot, confirms the news. “Shankar sir is busy at the moment, but after he wraps up his current project, we will speak about it. Of course, Rajni sir will be back, if and when Robot returns.”Srinivas also worked with Rajinikanth on Sivaji — The Boss and won a National Award for it as well. He is currently assisting the special effects team for the superstar’s movie, Rana, which is being produced by his daughter Soundarya and Eros, and directed by KS Ravikumar.

The film’s shoot recently came to a standstill when the south star fell ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. <B>He is expected to resume work in a few weeks.</B>

Since Rana is a period-drama-action film, what kind of special effects does Srinivas plan to create? “The script will decide that. Shankar sir partially shot Robot 10 years ago with Preity Zinta and Kamal Haasan. No one would have expected the various sequences that became part of the film eventually,” says the technician, who will be addressing the CGT Expo in the city on the weekend.

“As and when the scenes are ready, I will help Soundarya’s team create everything that’s just a figment of imagination right now.”
