Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai - Suseendharan - Ilaiyaraaja

Sumaar. The movie was quite ambitious, as in it tried to achieve so many things but only very few clicked. There were very few laughworthy scenes which was the biggest disappointment. The malayala bagavathi, constable (who was hilarious in the story) were so meh. Very lame. Dramatizing real azhagarsamy's story, trying to milk some tears / sympathies from ladees audience perhaps did not work with me at all.

On the positive side, few jokes worked very well and a couple of Susee-added subplots like the Tirupur baniyan factory, that notorious kid in the first few scenes worked really well. And the love bErds were good too. And of course Raja's BGM. Typical yet atypical for such a film. Brilliant. But there was no need for Raja to sing like 'that' for the kudhirai song. Annoying if I may say so.
