When going through all the 100th day ads posted here in the previous several pages, except very few (like Sivandha mann, Andhaman Kadhali, Dhavaputhalvan) nearly 90% of the movies ran 100 days in Shanti, Crown, Bhuvaneswari at Madras.

any specific reasons for that?.

Thiru Pammalar mentioned in his post, Saraswathi Sabatham ran 100 days in 7 theatres in the state.

But in the ad he published, has only 3 theatres, that too Shanti, Crown, Bhuvaneswari and other cities not mentioned.

May be that ad was given my Madras distributor only?.

One of pur junior member has made a sacastic statement saying most of the movies say 90 PERCENTran more than 10days only in shanthi crown bhuvaneswari ONLY. i STRONGLY refute this statement. if you take the records only 10percent of movies screened in the above theatres ran more than 100days and most of the movies were lifted before 1oo days and why movies with very big collections like thillana mohanambal were not allowed to silver jubliee.
all these things has happened in the past as We are not in the habit of expecting any false publicity and never in the habit of putting housefull boards by destroying left out tickets which was a a comman thing in those days in other big banners for information. that is my experience
closely observed since sixties and more so in seventies.

Dear Shri. Ramajayam,

Excellent and spontaneous retaliation. The 100 days info. on NT films given by Mr. Pammalar in the last two weeks have only been very few and would be 5% of his vastly successful movies. Its coincidental that some of them were screened in Shanthi, Crown and Bhuvaneswari. Even Thavappudhalvan, which was posted recently by Mr. Pammalar celebrated 100 day run not in Shanthi but in Pilot.

Mr. Murali gave a detailed analysis on "Singath Thamizhan Sivajiyin Saadhanaich ChigarangaL" which gave detailed info. including collections. Mr. Pammalar and others have been taken monumental efforts in posting the celebrations of NT's various movies around the world (recently Mr. Pammalar has posted an article by Mr. Yaazh Sudhakar about the unparalled success of many NT movies in Sri Lanka, including Vasantha Maaligai and Pilot Premnath. Mr. Adiram can read that article also, if he wants to).

Such misunderstandings and wrong judgements have been part and parcel of NT's glorious career and it continues even today. Time only should correct this.

There have been some problems in my system also due to which, I could not give my postings recently.

As requested by Mr. Vasudevan, Mr. Pammalar, Mr. Chandrasekar and Saradha Madam, I also request you to take care of yourself (which has been the consistent mantra of our Idol too for his fans). While we expect lot of postings from you in future continuously, which is one of the main reasons to keep this glorious thread very interesting, we also request you again to do such postings without affecting your personal priorities.
