Ok, final call - Panasonic Lumix FZ40 or Sony HX100V or Canon SX30IS? I have added all these 3 along with 16GB card + battery packs. Based on the inputs will decide which one to go with

Motorola Fire - Qwerty version
I have some complaints.... ppl who have solution please help..otherwise would have to go to service center
1. Battery life super nu sonnanga reviews la laam... but the battery life sucks........ naal full ah charge panninalum, the battery level keeps on decreasing....... Display ku than niraya power poguthu nu (43%) stats kaamichuthu....so reduced the brightness..still not much........ i am an avid net user.... is that a reason for this high battery consumption?
2. mobile occasionally (sometimes often) gets restarted during calls.....
3. mobile use panna aarambicha kaalathularnthu I was a sony ericsson user (T230, K750i, W890i, J20i [Hazel]), so ithula sila things konjam different ah irukku enakku....... Have some basic doubts
a. how to create/edit user profiles?
b. how to set up speed dialling?
c. how to create custom words (for dictionary)
d. select multiple songs for adding to playlist
e. keyboard shortcut for selecting words (while composing messages etc.,)
then how to enable the virtual keyboard?

1. Batt life - a.always keep display to lowest brightness. b.Download this app - SuperBox and go to Task Killer & kill the unused tasks. Try some apps like battery juice etc
2. Customer support
3.
a. No idea of profiles, but what are u trying to do with profiles etc. In Android, There is nothing like profiles in Nokia where u can set up the silent mode, vibration etc. If you want to keep personal data, there are apps which allow to keep passwords.
b. No Speed dial, instead you can keep icons of ur fav contacts on screen. one touch will dial them. for that, Long press the screen and you will get a menu, select "Shortcut" and select "Direct Dial" it will ask you to chose one contact. Likewise you select as many contacts till there is space in screen.
c. no idea! google aandavar!
d. the music apps which comes with phone is very basic. get some player app from market
e. selecting means? hilighting?!? "longpress" in the text box, u will get a menu.
virtual keyboard - u dont need to enable and all! suppose in web browser, open google, just touch the search box, keypad will pop up. press somewhere or back button, it will hide

Profiles for customizing the screen brightness (out in the sun pona athiga brightness, inside home / office less brightness etc.,), call volume, customizing vibration etc.,

Did you happen to see them in showroom? Buy whichever looks good to your eyes. Samsung is better, if you ask me.

RS,
i dont think android has automatic brightness sensor. maybe ur model may support. kindly check market if any apps are there..
reg the direct dial, i always keep them in the last screen so that i dont touch them accidentally.Another option is, keep a folder for this and keep the shortcuts inside that! it seems some phones (HTC Sense, Samsung Captivate and Vibrant, Motorola Droid X) have the speed dial number options u ask for - http://www.androidcentral.com/adding-numbers-speed-dial
LM, i am not a fan of android phone, i use that mainly for apps, messaging and email. If you buy a high end device you may have more comfort. anyways, Android apps makes it a powerful mini computer cum communication device. If I buy a device like Samsung Galaxy Note, which is a 5.3 inch smartphone, i will use that whole day for both calls and computing. it will partially replace my laptop!
