Having used a low end phone for a year prior to buying this one, I found the battery backup poor for the first few days. Then I learnt to manage it better by switching of the brightness and closing unnecassary apps while not in use, now the battery lasts for a day and a half.

Normal earphones, sound quality is very good but volume is not enough if you use it while travelling or in a crowded place

Tried it, possible here

That's bad. For a phone like this, I thought they would provide the same earphones they give for walkman phones. See the pic below.

I have swype in my samsung, trust me - it's the most easiest way to type a message. I know it is there for android too, just wanted to know if it works in SE Neo.

From what I've read in various reviews and forums it seems that each region gets a different version of the earphones. UK la ellam IEM types than, India la than ippadi pola... But I still love the sound quality, if only it could be louder

LM, i guess all sony phones will have the same earphones like one what u have put, becos, my wife uses Yendo, (worst phone !) and it had same earphones in the pic. But yes, sound quality may not be like Bose headphones. I used it with PC and my phone, it was nice, no problem.

Ok Tehcno Gurus! One more suggestion / reekost.
I am tempted to buy a Macbook Pro - Windows Person all my life, but would not take long to learn a new OS / System
At the same time, also tempted by Android Tablets and Smart Phones. But cannot buy both Macbook and Android Tablet / SmartPhone Combo at the same time.
Requirements - Movie Watching, Reading News, Hub (Default
), Chat and Mail, Songs. I am not a gaming person. Sumaal interest in Audio / Video / Photo editing with basic tools
When I return to India, not inclined to go for pricey data plans, just GPRS would do while travelling to office.
Which one do you suggest in this case?

Thanks LM.. this seems a good buy.. My parents do like it..
I also bought one Samsung 5000 series [LED, no 3D] for my in laws.. I checked with the store fellow for internet connectivity and he said it is there.I also made sure it has a ethernet port. But when I took it to India we have found Internet connectivity is only for software update and no internet applications can be used
except that other things are fine.. maybe I could have gone for the same series 6 model.. it was worth it.. [3D+SMART tv, 3D kit, 3d Disc] for 600 extra Riyals.. ie. around 8.5K INR. hmm..
Come back strong.. Come back soon..
