There was an earlier rumor in some website (not remember which) that it was Vijay who was first contacted for this program (they didnt mention the TV but they did mention the hint for the program name).........

Surya vukku ithu vendaatha velai thaan... some one of the stature of Sathyaraj / Sarathkumar (i mean oru appa / uncle status la irukkaravanga) panna vendiya program ithu nu ninaikkaren.......

Amithab sucks. SRK was far better than Big B. I used to watch the show only for SRK.

Sharukh carries himself really well in media's eye. I have always felt that he has got a good presence of mind in handling question by media. While there are occasions like his jokes at filmfare functions have been really unfunny, he has got a good sense of humour.

True ! and he is well read and that was quite visible when he hosted CBK. The additional information he gives for each question and answer was a proof that he was on top of it and he commanded great control with his friendly and pleasant manners.
