ஆண்டு 1989-ல் பாரிஸில் நடந்தேறிய ஒரு இசைக்கச்சேரியில் சுசிலாம்மா குரலில் "ராசாத்தி மனசுல.." பாடல்.. என்ன ஒரு சுருதி! என்ன ஒரு குரல்வளம்!
மோசமான ஒலிப்பதிவிலும் பீறிக்கொண்டு வெளியே வரும் கம்பீரக் குரல் அது!

Chinnavar was a bonanza Suresh, then. Just went unappreciated - I absolutely dig the songs. Fun songs don't get any more fun than kadalora kavidhaiyE. The man just pulls his strings and gets every singer in the chorus to emote as he wants and creates the fun element. The lyrics play no part just content to remain in the background. This must be why individualistic lyricists hate him - he makes their job redundant.
I enjoyed listening to the telugu version of the song Vaanam Adhi Vaanam: http://www.thiraipaadal.com/tpplayer...1'&lang=en from Dhavani Kanavugal. Beautiful composition! Recently came across the telugu version sung by SPB and Susheela. lovely song! Cant point out at exact raagam.. so hence - Raajaraagam! Interludes are superbly constructed! Must have been a feast in the recording theatre!
