I don't know about sakala, dilbu, but I will back you 100 percent if you bad-mouthed "Indian/Hidnustani" in any capacity. I don't know where you got that "Dilbert is not allowed to comment on kamal's performance". It is not at all true. Equally, I would back any Kamal fan badmouthing Sivaji/Endhiran, too, although you might find that sacreligious. Note also that it is more likely to find a Kamal fan who badmouths Indian than to find a Rajini fan who badmouths Sivaji/Endhiran. Note also that I have far more freely badmouthed Indian in this forum than I have badmouthed Sivaji/Endhiran. What does that tell you of so-called elitist control of this forum by Kamal fans?

We really support if anyone badmouthed Sivaji/Endhiran. Look at all my posts when endhiran was released and I did not get mad at anyone who did not like Endhiran. We are also very critical of Rajini here and if you have not seen it then it is your problem. I really do not want to talk about Indian much here but this would be the final comment about Indian. It is not great movie by any standards and at the same it was not meant to be a great movie. Kamal had told about this many times to south and North indian media during its release. It was out and out commercial venture and Kamal did complete justice for his role and definitely deserved national award for that year comparing the competition. One more thing it is not very easy to emote behind the plastic and he emoted really really well using his eyes, body languaguage and voice modulation. Indian was very important movie in Kamal's career. In north india it enjoyed great success after Ek Duje Keliye. As a matter of fact Kamal was no.1 actor in box office for three consecutive weeks in Hindi. Indian is probably one of the fewest movies in India which had commercial success across all languages and regions. Take it or not and that is the truth.

IF you talks about fans maturity, iwould say it really is looking improved. Kamal threadla rajini fans vanthu comment podrathum, inge naanga vanthu comment podrathum sagajamaa nadakkuthu, i mean negative comments..

For example, when many kamal fans were disappointed at the Viswaroopam interview in vijay tv, even some rajini fans expressed same. I posted here about that Rajini's punch dialogs and the comedy "Kizhakku pathippagam" is making around it.

Indian is > 15 years old now. And many Kamal fans are also supportive of Indian now. Let's see how many Rajini fans here badmouth BOSS/Enthiran in another 10 years or so. After the initial euphoria with every revisit I have been more and more critical of the BOSS. Enthiran, havent seen it in a long time now But both are good movies, achieved what it set out to.

I have hated BOSS right from the release time. Have watched many times the key scenes (likes of Bajji scene etc etc..).
For some reason I like Endhiran. It could have been better offcourse, but did what was expected.

This recent interview of Shankar about Indian intially written for Rajini, is very interesting. Although at the outset many think Rajini couldn't have pulled off, I for one think, he would have done the role completely different & made it successful too....

BOSS'la shreya veettukku pora maadhiri varra scenes, adhoda kilai scenes ellaam sodhappal... first time paakkurappove cant believe if i was watching the right movie... but second half made it all for it and the mottai boss straightened everything up.
