I know Nagesh was a big fan of Lewis and there are stories of him incorporating Lewis stuff in KB movies so presumably, KB was a fan or atleast knowledgable about Lewis?

Nagesh's wiki too says the same :

Nagesh's style of comedy was largely inspired by Hollywood actor Jerry Lewis. Similarities between Nagesh and Lewis earned Nagesh the sobriquet "Jerry Lewis of India".

Interestingly, the wiki article talks about Manorama & Nagesh being not in good terms
