pointless,no story at all...only saving grace is Deniro's stunning performance as Jhonny Boy...realising an actor's presence is so crucial for a film..credit to MS for bringing out that..

I now think Mean Street is Scorcese's best. This is the Scorcese that film fans/critics loved that Academy Award shunned. F__ all that De Caprio shits!

i felt the whole movie was not heading anywhere...boring lengthy bar sequences too...thought Charlie's uncle is going to do something at the end...payapulla edhume seyala...
but Deniro was superb

agree with u on Decaprio shits..his best IMO was with Deniro...
