Nagesh, sachu and sahcu's father scenes are excellant througout the movie. the problem with KN is the lead actors are "sappai" in terms of comedy.

Yes, though I like muthuraman, I don't think he has good commic timing, in comparison Rajni is wekll known his execellent comedy timing!

enna ippadi solliteenga.. Balaiah is one of the most casual actor in TFI who can make you laugh any time..

inge edhirpu irukkura alavukku ellam KN illai.. i too like KN.. but TM is above all..


the best thing in TM is, each & every scene is meant for laugh & they keep the momentum till the end.. no sentiment scenes (most comedy films will have some part of sentiment.. TM wins here compared to any other film), no fight sequence.. even Thangangale thambigale is fun to watch... if we start quoting best lines from TM.. we will end up with 80% of the dialogues..

- myself being a fan of Baghyaraj brand comedies.. feel that 2nd half is a sodhappal
- once i saw an interview given by baghyaraj's assistant.. (GM Kumar?).. he said that he joined Baghyaraj in the shooting of I P N V.. someone recommended him saying that.. KBR is directing a film.. first half script was ready but the team was finding it difficult to move the 2nd half screenplay.. check with KBR whether he could be helpful for KBR

- interestingly, the Manobala - Anjali - Santhanam - Vimal .. car, jeep chase in KALAKALAPPU seems to be lifted from I P N V climax & modified slightly

Agree. Even when he acted in *good* commerce-targetted films like TEU / Padikkathavan / NN etc., he signed up bad ones like Paayum Puli / Ellam Un Kairaasi / Thaai meedhu sathiyam.

We only blame commercial filmmakers for being unimaginative, but the star too should have quality control. That he made many hacks prosper in TFI is rather unfortunate.
