Is Samantha Ruth Prabhu jinxed in Kollywood ?

There are unconfirmed reports doing the rounds that she has been dropped from Shankar directed I opposite Vikram !

Samantha was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons when she was dropped from Mani Ratnam’s prestigious project Kadal and replaced by Thulasi. The grapevine is abuzz with rumours that Shankar is now looking for a new heroine and is also speaking to few top Bollywood girls.

When contacted, a very close friend of Samantha on conditions of anonymity said:“Samantha is undergoing skin treatment for acne and has been advised to avoid sunlight and harsh lights for atleast three months. It was in these circumstances that she walked out of Kadal which required her to shoot for 30 days continuously on the beaches. Samantha whose skin is plagued by acne is undergoing treatment with a leading dermatologist for peels and antibiotics and soon she will be fine”.





Shankar who is away in China finalising locations for I, plans to start the shoot by July second week. Normally Shankar always starts his film with a song sequence. AR Rahman has already composed a song which was planned to be shot on Vikram and Samantha in an outdoor near Chennai.

Now the big question being asked is whether Samantha will opt out of I, due to her peculiar health condition?

whatever the news about skin problem.. it's a blessing in disguise.. i'm more than happy that she escaped from pairing with a 48 yr old.. who doesn't have any fan following.. & as per hubbers.. his "chemistry" with his pairs.. are all a concern for Sam fans..

Samantha seems to be a great girl with a bubbly personality, mature & intelligent. Unfortunately, I don't understand why she picked such a dirty profession (for girls), especially Indian cinema, where the casting couch is a given.
I feel sorry for this poor girl, she will? just be looked at as a fresh piece of meat by the producers/directors who will no doubt exploit her for next 5-8 years.? After using? her, she will be discarded like every other heroine before her! God? help this sweet girl!
