I like Rajamouli. Telugu desam have their first mega director who is delivering consistent blockbusters. So, I think the comparison is not a problem. Infact, it is expected. Magadheera ellam one of his best movies. He is talented and given the platform can excel and improve.

yes he has given consistent Success streak,but all his previous ventures except Magadheera are Perasu stuff IMO.

இந்தப் படம் மூலம் தென் இந்தியாவின் ஷோமேன் என்ற புதிய அந்தஸ்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளார் ராஜமவுலி.

ஹீரோ இறந்து ஈயாக மாறி எதிரிகளைப் பழிவாங்கும் ஒரு சாதாரண கதையை, மூக்கின் மீது விரல் வைக்கும் அளவுக்கு பிரமாண்டமாகவும், தொழில்நுட்ப நேர்த்தி குறையாமலும் தந்த ராஜமவுலிக்கு பாராட்டுக்களும் வசூலும் குவிகின்றன (மனிதர் இத்தனை வெற்றி கொடுத்தும் சாதாரண ஐ டென் காரில்தான் போகிறாராம்!)

தெலுங்கில் இந்தப் படம் ரூ 34 கோடிக்கு விற்பனை செய்யப்பட்டது. அங்கே கிடைத்துள்ள வரவேற்பைப் பார்த்தால், இந்தப் படம் விற்பனைத் தொகையை இரண்டு மடங்காக திருப்பித் தந்துவிடும் நிலை உள்ளது.

தமிழில் நேரடிப் படமாகவே வெளியாகியுள்ளது. போட்டிக்கு வேறு படங்களும் இல்லை. சோலோ ரிலீஸ். பல அரங்குகளில் சகுனியையும் ஸ்பைடர்மேனையும் கூட தூக்கிவிட்டு நான் ஈயை வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர்.

படம் வெளியான வெள்ளிக்கிழமை தமிழகத்தின் அத்தனை அரங்குகளிலும் 99 சதவீத பார்வையாளர்கள் கூட்டம். சிறுவர்கள் ஆர்வம் காட்டுவதால், இனி குடும்பம் குடும்பமாக வர வாய்ப்பிருப்பதால், நான் ஈயை வாங்கியவர்கள் முகமெல்லாம் சந்தோஷம்!

ஆக, ஒரேநாளில் ஹீரோவாகிவிட்டது ஈ!
