Watched the neeya naana program..thanks guys for the link q.hmm.. Gopinath did well. The very ending part including MSV, Subbiah Naidu and Rahman seemed to be a late "insert". Must be some guidance from the corporate guys that a network cannot be favoring a particular composer. Just to give him the benefit of doubt. The BITS alumnus woman is a good example of how the instrumental portion of IR's songs captured peoples imagination compared to mostly the vocal nuances in previous era ..I was impressed when she asked 1st or 2nd interlude ..awesome. Well ..even today, there is so much importance to the sound.. but not sure whether the "playing" is given importance !!
(Damn.. arivumathi sings wells and sort of sounded like IR's voice..he made some good points too)
