I understand it as "If the source taken, ACD, is of higher quality, then even if the DSP/DAC 'expands' the sound, it only leads in much superios qualit becos there is good separation of instruments, almost all sounds are slightly doubled in time slice, so that you hear superior quality. Since the system is doubling the existing source, if you pass a low quality audio, this process will make the resulting sound, much worser"
