Ajith’s Film Is An Original Script : Siruthai Siva

What’s hot in K’town’s gossip circuit? It is Thala’s forthcoming film with director Sirutthai Shiva, produced by Vijaya Vahini Productions.

Reports from tinselville suggest that it will be the remake of Ravi Teja’s recent T’town release Daruvu, which incidentally, was directed by Shiva.

The socio-fantasy masala entertainer has Taapsee playing the arm candy of Ravi Teja. Shiva’s Sirutthai, which was a remake of Ravi Teja’s Vikramarkudu and had Karthi in the lead, went on to become a huge hit.

Sources say that Shiva considers Ravi Teja his lucky charm and is contemplating bringing the Daruvu script to Tamil after making a few changes to suit Ajith’s on-screen persona.

When DC contacted Shiva, who is basking in the success of Daruvu, he denied any such moves and shrugged it off as a figment of someone’s imagination.

“I don’t know why people spread such stories! Ajith sir’s film will be a mass entertainer and it is a new script, not the remake of Daruvu,” he said.

But the filmmaker did not rule out the possibility of the film being remade in K’town and also in Bollywood.

“The movie has been widely appreciated and is rocking the box office collections. I have been getting calls from Chennai as well as Mumbai, for the remake of this film.

But I am yet to take a call on it,” he claims. And guess who has been touted to reprise Ravi Teja in B’town? It is none other than Akshay Kumar.

There was yet another rumour about Anushka Shetty not featuring opposite Ajith due to date issues.

When asked about this the director clarified, “There were a few date problems with Anushka but we will be sorting it out soon”.

Anyways, I am starting the project only after Ajith completes Vishnuvardhan’s film.”

I dont know why he picked siva couldn't he have picked al vijay or some better director was really dissapointed with his siruthai anyways since this is a original script praying it will be good.

Siruthai Siva, who is having a good time enjoying the success of Daruvu, has disclosed that his next project with Ajith in the lead will not be a remake of Daruvu. He says that it is his original script and that it will be a mass entertainer. But he hasn’t given up the idea of making the Telugu super hit in Tamil. He admits that he has been getting offers from both Kollywood and Bollywood to remake the film. But he hasn’t taken any decision on that front.
When asked about the rumour of Anushka not playing the lead in his next with Ajith, he says that there are few problems with the dates, but he is sure it can be sorted out. The film will go on floor after Ajith completes his shoot for the Vishnuvardhan project.

I wonder why Chennaiwalas are approaching Shiva for remaking his latest telugu film. I heard the story is similar to Rajini's Adhisaya piravi.

Ajith to Kickstart Siva’s Project by November

Ajith who is busy shooting for his next with Vishnuvardhan for yet to-be titled film will move on to his next which will be the 53rd film in his career, this film will be directed by ‘Siruthai’ fame Siva and will be produced by Vijaya Productions which marks centenary year of its founder, late veteran Nagi Reddy.

If sources are to be believed, ‘This project is planned to go on floors in November while Ajith will complete the Vishnuvardhan’s project by October.”

Meanwhile, starting September 10, scenes on Ajith and Arya will be shot by Vishnuvardhan. Arya, who was shooting in Georgia for ‘Irandam Ulagam’, returned to Chennai last week and is thrilled about working with the ‘Thala’.

Will Ajith Do A 3D Role?

The latest buzz in tinselville is about Ajith doing his 53rd flick with Tollywood director Shiva (who made a mark in Tamil with Sirutthai, remake ofVikramarkudu).

The action star had apparently asked the filmmaker to rework the script, particularly a few portions of the screenplay. The movie is being produced by the famous Vijaya Vauhini productions.

However, Shiva has a different take on the buzz. He tells DC that work is going on as scheduled. “I am working on the final stages of the script as of now.

Ajith never called me and said anything,” he clarifies. Probe him on Thala’s reported three-dimensional role in his film and he says, “With a super actor like Ajith in hand, the film will be a mass emotional entertainer. You will get to see an all new Ajith in a role which will also be a fresh one to him.”

About the film’s heroine, he is confident he can rope in Anushka Shetty for the character. “I am starting the project only in December after Ajith completes the Vishnuvardhan flick.

By that time most of Anushka’s ongoing ventures would have come to a wrap-up stage.” It is common knowledge in T’town that Shiva and Anushka share a great rapport.
