Gnana Oli - Something missing.
If you take Gnana Oli, Thanga Padhakkam and Gauravam as a trilogy for a certain type of Sivaji film, this would come last. Something is off about the movie.

ipdi oru dialogue ivarukku ezhudhaNumA? kaNNulEyE solliduvAre idhai? Like that only, P Madhavar directs it like he is directing(And probably did in Maniyosai) Kalyan Kumar. Even if you try to argue that the character is over the top and wears his heart on the sleeve, those moments look/sound so off.

Actually, before watching again today, I had kind of assumed it to be above Gauravam and Thanga Padhakkam. But after watching, only vengala padhakkam to GO among GO, G and TP.
