Bravo will be missed but the blessing in disguise is that Faf will get a go. Hussey,Faf,Albie and Dougie/Hilfy will be the four overseas players.

With the fourth edition of the 2012 Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) set to get under way in South Africa on 13th October 2012, the most successful team in the history of the IPL, return to the Rainbow Nation in a bid to reclaim the crown. The Chennai Super Kings have in the past tasted great success in South Africa having reached the Semifinals of the second edition of the IPL in 2009 and winning the CLT20 tournament in 2010 to become the only team to hold both the IPL and CLT20 championships in the same year. Buoyed by their exploits in South Africa, the Chennai Super Kings will in no doubt be brimming with confidence as they are all set to kick off their campaign on 14th October 2012 against Sydney Sixers.
The Super Kings core group has remained largely the same over the years and with a mixture of youth and experience they form a formidable unit. Key to their success in this edition will be local boys Albie Morkel and Faf du Plessis whose presence in the side will be an invaluable asset. Morkel with his great striking ability is well settled in the side, and the onus of being the lead all rounder rests with him in the absence of Dwaine Bravo, while du Plessis after a brilliant outing in IPL 5, capitalizing on the opportunities presented to him before making way for Michael Hussey, may find a permanent place in the team in the top or middle order.
The Hallmark of success for the Super Kings over the years has been their uncanny ability to win games even when the chips are down and also their knack of handling pressure, to come out on top from seemingly impossible situations. With an abundance of talent at their disposal, including the likes of Captain M S Dhoni, Michael Hussey, Suresh Raina, Albie Morkel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Doug Bollinger and many others, the boys from Chennai are looking good to mount a strong challenge for their second CLT20 crown, despite losing Dwayne Bravo and S Anirudha prior to the tournament due to injuries.
Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out due to a thigh strain and will be replaced by Nuwan Kulasekara, the Sri Lankan seamer, while S Anirudha who fractured his right clavicle in the first week of October during a domestic game, sidelining him for six weeks, will make way for Shadab Jakati.
Team: MS Dhoni (Captain), Ravichandran Ashwin, Subramaniam Badrinanth, Doug Bollinger, Nuwan Kulasekara, Francois du Plessis, Ben Hilfenhaus, Michael Hussey, Ravindra Jadeja, Albie Morkel, Suresh Raina, Wriddhiman Saha, Murali Vijay, Shadab Jakati & Yo Mahesh

As expected SS were quite an opposition to beat. But well played CSK. We gave away too many runs at last.

Batting order needs tinkering...Ashwin should come up the order...before Badri and Dhoni....indha udhavaakarai Jadeja should be thrown out and bring in Jakati. Jakati can surely score 4 runs off 9 balls the way Jaddu does anyway.
And, Dhoni, for heaven's sake, start getting into form
