Vijay has a lot of strengths. Unfortunately he has been sedate and at times laidback which has worked as an advantage to others. One of Vijay’s major mistakes in the past is not choosing to work with good directors which he seems to have sorted out now. Though ridiculed/mocked consistently by a dedicated minority always, Vijay is back with a bang with Thuppakki and possibly shut the majority of them for now.

Vijay, this is just a beginning. Choose the best of directors and team and be judicious in your selection of movies. If that happens, the world will watch in awe all your wonderful talents.

One thing which kept me shocked for a while was the way Thalaivar carried out the Hindi dialogues . Especially the dialogues during the climax . I was not confident when ARM was telling the same in the pre release promotions.

As usual few kaalans were there in the yesterday show to spoil the movie. That is usual for any movie in US except Rajini and Kamal movies. Audience enjoyed lot of scenes. Though songs are placed in right places two songs could have been removed.

Actions sequences are choreographed well and comedies came out well. Jeyaram . Vijay is awesome throughout the movie. easily one of the best in his career.

And as a Vijay fan IMO Ghilli > Thuppakki.
