After the recent success of Thuppakki, Vijay and A.R.Murugadoss are understandably elated. Box-office returns and reviews have been positive from day 1.Recently, Ajith took some time out to congratulate and wish Vijay as well as Murugadoss on their success. He was impressed with their work and was profuse in his praise. except for the speedbreaker songs...
kajal looks cute and still when she comes we get a feeling of 'no! not another song!'...
worst music album for a vj movie imo... the first song sounded like a hindi-tamil dubber song for me...
vijay is superfit and cool... and the villain is equally smart...
bgms sounded ok to me...so many uruvals... this guy still uses the traditional music for a terrorist and the usual trumpet for indian army... minnalae bgm ellam vandhuchu in the second half.... plis to no hj anymore...
weak family characterisation... arm could hav spent some more time on this... one of the usp's of gilli was his family...
jayaram was ok and lol at times...

The Villian was one of the plus point in the movie, he was given equal screen share as the hero.This has been a healthy trend in all AGM movies.

P.S.Arjun (Asst Director): Thuppakki is getting bigger in Kerala as family viewers are rushing in. Registered 60 - 70 % even after one week on a working day in Kerala.
