Talaash
The film switches into various sub genres of thriller - psychological, investigation and one more, which cannot be revealed since its a spoiler. The credits start with the late night life of Mumbai and prepares us for a journey into the other side of the colorful city. The film travels in its own pace only to unfold beautifully later on.
This is not a life time role for Aamir. For an actor of his calibre, the role of Surjan is just a cakewalk. The leading ladies have better roles to play. So does Siddiqui, who grabbed attention in Kahaani. Dialogues by Farhan Akthar and additional dialogues by Anurag Kashyap (I could pick out his contributions easily).
Talaash may not appeal to the masses like 3I or Ghajini, given its pace. But it is recommended for its dark theme and the suspense factor. For me, it is the best bollywood film of this year.
I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.
