I beg to differ. I dont want this project to happen for following reasons.

1) Shankar will swallow 2 years of Vijay's call sheet. VJ at this point of time should have a release at least every six months to reach the next level. Anniyan and Kandasamy almost ate Vikram's career. People forgot him and during this period Surya came in and conquered his place.

2) Shankar's scripts are same. They all revolve around corruption which has been discussed to death. Nothing new story wise.

3) He makes sure movie's budget shoots to the roof and even if the movie is a super hit it will only break even. Spends a lot of money on CG and songs. For instance in Nanban illeana song is not required at all then why to spend unnecessarily. May be in his next movie I he might have painted a flight with all rainbow colors for a song. God save the Oscar films.

I would prefer VJ to work with ARM again than Shankar.

Unless Shankar produces this movie (like Mudhalvan) and assures to complete it in less than 6 - 8 months then VJ is definitely taking a risk.
