30-01-2013 தேதியிட்டு இன்று வெளியான "ஜூனியர் விகடன்" வாசகர் ஒருவர் தொடுத்த வினாவிற்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த பதில் மக்கள் திலகத்தின் அபிமானிகளையும், ரசிகர்களையும், பக்தர்களையும் கௌரவப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
இதற்கு முன்பும் பிரபல வார இதழான "குமுதம்" பத்திரிகையும், இது போன்ற கேள்விக்கு அளித்திருந்த பதில் பொன்மனச்செம்மல் அன்பர்களை பெருமை பட வைத்தது.

To all the Users (Posting Personnel) of this Thread - Part 4 :
I take this opportunity of thanking each and every one of you for the valuable contribution with related information along with attractive pictures of our beloved god MGR,
I wonder - This Part - 4 thread is started only by 16th of this month and crossed 100 pages so quickly within 10 days. It is an amazing one. Credit goes to all who took active part in posting, spending the precious time, besides taking care of their family and meeting out their requirements and without inviting any criticism from the family Members and it is something marvelous.
A special thanks to Mr. Vellore Ramamoorthy who took much pain and strain in posting the variety of Pictures, in and around Vellore and also in other parts of the Vellore District.

It gives us an immense pleasure to read the article pertaining to our beloved MGR, published in the Oxford History of World Cinema. It is certainly a PRIDE FOR ALL OF US to note that as far as Indian Cinema is concerned, they have considered only Actor, i.e. our great MGR (apart from the actress Nargis - as per the list published) to write such article.Quote:

முதல் நாள் பார்த்த அனுபவம் .
மக்கள் திலகத்தின் குமரிக்கோட்டம் முதல் நாளன்று சென்னை குளோப் அரங்கில் முதல் காட்சி காணும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது .
கோவை செழியனின் இந்த படம் 1966ல் நாம் ஒருவரை சந்திப்போம் என்ற பாடலுடன் படப்பிடிப்பு துவங்கி இடையே நிறுத்தப்பட்டு 1970ல் மீண்டும் படப்பிடிப்பு துவங்கி 26-1-1971
அன்று வெளிவந்தது .
படம் ஆரம்பித்த உடன் ஒரே ஆரவாரம் .
கதை ஓட்டமும் பட காட்சிகளும் 10 நிமிடங்கள் மேல் ஓடியதும் ஜெயலலிதா அறிமுகத்துடன் ஸ்கூட்டரில் செல்லும்போது டைட்டில் பிரமாண்டமான இசை யுடன்
படம் விறுவிறுப்புடன் சென்று குடிசை பகுதியில் மக்கள் திலகம் அறிமுகமாகும் பாடல் 'என்னம்மா ராணி ' என்ற பாடல் அமர்க்களமாக மக்கள் திலகம் பாடி நடித்திருக்கும் காட்சி நெஞ்சை விட்டு அகலாகது .
கல்லூரி வாலிபராக ஏழையாக மக்கள் திலகம் நடித்திருப்பார் . ஜெயா பணக்கார பெண்ணாக அதே கல்லூரியில் ஆணவ பெண்ணாக நடித்திருப்பார் .
கல்லூரியில் படித்து கொண்டே கிடைக்கும் பகுதி நேர வேலை செய்து வரும் கோபால் என்ற பாத்திரத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடித்திருந்தார் .
தன தந்தையை அவமான படுத்திய பணக்கார ஜெயா தந்தையின் வீட்டிலேயே தோட்டக்காரனாக நடித்திருப்பார் .
ஒரு கட்டத்தில் தனது தந்தைக்கு ஏற்பட்ட அவமானத்தை போக்க சபதம் எடுத்து , மதுவுக்கு அடிமையான ஒரு செல்வந்தரின் குடும்பத்தில் மதுவினால் ஏற்படும் தீமையினை புரியவைத்து அவரை திருத்தி விடும் காட்சி மிகவும் அருமை .
ஜஸ்டினுடன் மோதும் சண்டை காட்சியில் மக்கள் திலகம் அவரை ஒரே கையினால் நான்கு முறை தூக்கி பந்தாடும் காட்சி இன்று பார்த்தாலும் மெய் சிலிரிக்கிறது .
பணக்கார paul என்று மக்கள் திலகம் மாறியதும் அவரது உடை , நடை ,மிகவும் பிரமாதம் .
ஏலம் நடைபெறும் காட்சி -அதில் போட்டி போட்டுகொண்டு
மக்கள் திலகம் -ஜெயா இருவரும் நடித்த காட்சி பிரமாதம் .
கடைசியில் ஏலத்தில் ஜெயாவுக்கு விட்டு கொடுத்து விட்டு
அதற்கான காரணம் கூறும் காட்சி சூப்பர் .
மக்கள் திலகம் நினைவாகவே இருக்கும் ஜெயாவை அவர் ஆட்டுவிக்கும் காட்சிகள் அற்புதம் . குறிப்பாக எங்கே அவள் என்றே மனம் என்ற பாடலில் அவரது ஏக்கமான முக பாவங்களும் சிறந்த நடிப்பும் நெஞ்சை விட்டு நீங்காது .
ஒரு கட்டத்தில் டேப் ரெகார்டர் மூலம் காதல் மொழி வசனம் - அதனை தொடர்ந்து வரும் சூப்பர் பாடலான
நாம் ஒருவரை சந்திப்போம் என காதல் தேவதை ....
என்ற பாடலில் இருவரின் இளமை துள்ளல்டன் கூடிய அருமையான காதல் கீதம் .
பின்னர் கதையின் போக்கில் ஜெயாவின் இரண்டு வேடங்கள் - மனோகரின் வில்லத்தனம் - ஆள் கடத்தல் -
மக்கள் திலகத்தை கொல்ல ஜெயா முயலும் காட்சி யில்
மிகவும் பிரமாதமாக நடித்திருப்பார் .
மக்கள் திலகம் - மனோகர் மோதும் சண்டை காட்சிகள்
அருமை . பணக்கார ராமசாமியின் திமிரை அடக்கும் காட்சிகளில் மக்கள் திலகத்தின் நடிப்பு அபாரம் .
இறுதியில் ஆள் மாறாட்டம் - பழி வாங்கும் படலம்
என்று விறுவிறுப்பாக செல்கின்றது .
நிறைவாக பணக்கார குடும்பம் திருந்துகிறது .

He was Tamil filmdom’s doyen from the 1950s to the 1970s and is still enthusiastically talked about for his generosity, and contributions to Tamil cinema and later as a politician and finally as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, India.
Below is a short memorial verse about the irreplaceable MGR on the 25th anniversary of his demise.
MGR – the acronym of instant recognition, the big time he hit with the blockbuster Malai Kalan, endearing millions with his touching portrayal, aan actor, benefactor and leader without equal.
Singlehandedly, he transformed cinema’s sense of mission, turning the entertainment medium for a social vision, messages revolutionary he preached to arouse hearts, the downtrodden he stirred up to assert their rights.
In films compassion was the core of his character, against despots and exploiters, thwarting their plots sinister, he was a romantic hero, cultured and adorable, a trendsetter heralding the new, revering the traditional.
A versatile artiste he was the producers’ trump card, enthralling audiences with the word and sword, his inspiring songs became the anthems of freedom, for young and old it was the new found patriotism.
On screen he instilled Dravidian pride, precipitating the unstoppable Tamilian tide, victorious emerged the DMK in its political struggle, When in 1967 it became the choice of the people.
Breaking away, setting up his own ADMK party, winning the election with his manifesto and magnetic personality, destiny beckoned him to lead the Tamil Nadu government, Initiating programmes of reform and development.
His administration, fair and equitable, grew in popularity, sure signs the people saw of progress and prosperity, alas his untimely demise deprived the state of a benevolent CM, A unique legacy he leaves to perpetuate his name and fame.
