Dear Gopal,

It is very very unfortunate that you have again chosen to be brash bordering on arrogance that needless to say will hurt may people here. All Sivaj Fans have always been mature, lenient, open to criticism and democratic to the core. They will not be perturbed by any comments and have seen many acerbic tongues lash at their hero but still maintain a dignity and poise unlike fans of other heroes. You yourself had done this many a times which we understood as a genuine sorrow and disappointment from an avid fan. But today's spat was unprovoked, unnecessary, unwarranted and uncalled for.

As I have always maintained, whatever that was done years ago cannot be undone now and redone in a different manner, however hard one may try. This applies to all walks of life and more to films. If you are not happy with a particular product it is absolutely fine with all of us. Tastes differ from person to person and we have to accept that as a fact and move on. It is a futile attempt to convert everybody's taste buds like that of Gopal's.

I have always refrained from commenting on your posts but my dear friend, I am very sorry to say this but your post today on a particular film is more of attention seeking one rather than a genuine concern [which will again serve no purpose as the issue itself is 41 years old]. Normally I hate to intrude and stifle other's opinion and I always try to be here as a fan rather than wearing the garb of Moderator but today I have no choice.

I sincerely hope better sense will prevail and you will continue to post on the nuances of NT's acting hitherto unexplored.
