மீண்டும் வருகிறது நாயகன் - 2

1987ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்து வரலாற்று பாடமான படம் நாயகன். உலக அளவில் பெரும்புகழ் பெற்ற படமிது. இந்த படத்திற்காக கமல் இரண்டாவது முறையாக தேசியவிருது பெற்றார். தொடர்ந்து தோல்வி படங்களை கொடுத்த மணிரத்னம், இழந்த பெயரை காக்க இப்போது இந்த படத்தின் இரண்டாம் பாகத்தை எடுக்க மணிரத்னம் முடிவு செய்துள்ளார். கதை ரெடி செய்து கமல்ஹாசனிடமும் ஓகே வாங்கி விட்டாராம். இந்த படத்தில் கமல் தந்தை, மகன் ஆகிய இரண்டு கேரக்டர்களில் நடிக்கிறார். தந்தை கமலுக்கு ஜோடியாக நீண்ட இடைவேளைக்குப்பின் ஸ்ரீதேவி நடிக்கிறார்.

ஆச்சரியமான தகவல் என்றால் நாயகன் இரண்டாம் பாகத்திற்கு இளையராஜாவே இசையமைக்கிறார். நீண்ட இடைவெளிக்குப்பின் மணிரத்னம் படத்துக்கு இளையராஜா இசையமைக்கிறார். மகன் கமலுக்கு ஜோடியாக தீபிகா படுகோனேவை நடிக்க வைக்க பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. கமல்ஹாசனின் உத்தமவில்லன் படம் முடிந்த பிறகு இந்த படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு ஆரம்பமாகும் என்று தகவல் கூறுகிறது

Rumour or true...whatever it is, Kamal, Maniratnam and Ilaiyaraja - legends work together to make a superb product. If not, atleast a sweet rumour.

Possible a rumor and will not come true but why not happen ? No confidence in kamal/mani/raja ?

Kamal has improvised himself and acquired much more knowledge and skills when compared to 1987, in fact he has done many good films after Nayagan.

But for Mani, as many would say Nayagan is his best work till date. It is not advisable for Kamal to go back to Mani at this point...

Raja - Firstly, Let Kamal decide on whether to join hands with Mani or not... Appuram indha panjayattha vachukkalaam.

This is definitely a rumour but I would be happy if it happens
KH + Mani have the mojo to recreate the magic again. Of course, those that don't agree that Nayagan was a landmark movie or don't like Mani would not welcome this get-together.

Pora pokkula ippadi oru vaarthai solliteengalae how would you rate Kannathil Muthamittal (handling of Fostered child - Parents relation, Alaipayuthe (life after romance), Guru etc.,), there are some for whom mani stopped giving good films once he moved away from Ilaiyaraja, appadipatta oru karuththa ithu?

There is no doubt that Kannathil Muthamittaal, Guru and AlaipayuthE are good films. but comparatively Nayagan is better IMO.

There is no doubt that Kannathil Muthamittaal and AlaipayuthE are good films. but comparatively Nayagan is better IMO.

Surely, the best movie of Maniratnam is Nayagan in all aspects.
