Top Six - Quarter finals begins with a short speech from each contestant. Arvind Srinivas, Syed Subahan, Sarath Santhosh, Sonia, Parvathi & Diwakar all say almost the same words - hard work, dream, etc. etc.

Hosted by Vishnu & Bhavana, this week's theme is Timeless & Classic Hits. Each contestant will be required to sing FOUR songs of different genre.

Unni, Mano, Sujatha & Srini are the judges this week.

The special guest judge is Chitra, who appears in SS for the first time! She is welcomed with a chocolate shower and sings kannaalanE enadhu kannai nEtrOdu kaanavillai, with her usual startling lovely voice!

He sounds a little like arun mozhi

Srini - not your comfort zone but you sang very well. - 8/10
Mano - when you soften the singing, it will be flat - 8/10
Chitra - a bit of wind and strain, but nice expression - 8/10
Unni - asks him to sing the humming but is rudely canceled out by bad editing - 8/10
Sujatha - 9/10

Unni - you havent heard this song much have you? sangathis not tight. - 8/10

started very well, but made two obvious slips ... lol

Chitra - you could have done better at one place. (she sings and makes a mistake again) - 8/10
Sujatha - some places were very good. high pitch some places had problems - 9/10
Mano - have to learn a bit more on base expression - 8/10
Unni - 8/10
Srini - 9/10
Total - 42/50 tie with Arvind (Sujatha and Srini made sure of that!)
