There have been a lot of speculations about the title of Kamal Haasan’s next movie which happens to be the remake of Malayalam superhit Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph. Incidentally, the same director will be wielding the microphone in the movie's Tamil version as well.

Now we have authentic information that the film is titled as Papanasam and as informed earlier Gauthami might share the screen space with Kamal Haasan for this movie.

Ghibran scores the music for this flick. The movie is produced by Suresh Balaje, George Pius of Wide Angle Creations and Raj Kumar Sethupathy and Sripriya Rajkumar of Raj Kumar Theatres Pvt Ltd.

Konjam over-dhan I agree .. and yes, he didnt have anybody to prop him when he was coming up. He seems to be doing this praise job/motivational speech in every function he attends although its a little more here because of his affinity. Vikram Prabhu has a long way to go to even reach Prabhu's level and will probably never reach NT level.

Introduced to this thread only recently (was not aware of this thread..excellent write-ups) kindly excuse me for these belated responses to this thread:

1. I was shocked about some comments questioning the title "legend" for thalaivar. what else they expect from an artist, God only knows

2. I was surprised that while discussing about Mani movies, nobody mentioned about the earth-shattering movie Roja, which will be remembered till movie exists in India. (although roja will count after Nayakan as Mani's best)

3. I was disturbed about some ppl questioning KH receiving PB award, attributing some malicious blame un-connected with performance of a true artist and the recognition he gets. The Geno character is one eccentric perverted and he should be banned from entering this Hub

most of them esp. Ksr wanted to talk more about kamal than the movie or vikram prabhu ! The biggest reason for kamal and other seniors to grace this is mainly for nt and prabhu .. Rather than sigaram-thodu or vikram prabhu

Reason is vikram prabu is giving steady performance in all the three films and hatrck hit given by people.
Also Karthick son, Sathyaraj son etc acted more no of films but nothing got reached with people and one more thing in tamil cine field third generation of
NT's family giving good shine. This is the reason.

I also confirm that that prabu and ramkumar having deep affection with kamal and rajini. No doubt
