I liked Kakki Sattai. Thought Durai Senthilkumar has done a neat job and giving a Police Story in the lines of Vikram starrer Dhil is 'so cool'. Also, he has kept it brief and showed only the hunt of the Head and nothing to do with the roots. A villain and then there is Mathimaran. Thats it. The second half was funny, and Manobala twist was tickle tickling. Plus Mathimaran escape sequence was wonderfully done. Again thanks to Durai Senthilkumar to have shown Sri Divya as a city girl and she was so real. Except I found the Kadal Song quite lifeless and then as usual the romance was lousy, the pair did not make it click this time. Imman Annachi & Mayilsamy were too good.

Siva Karthikeyan has done a glad and grand job in Kakki Sattai. A desperate constable with a team of misfits going against the system is not an easy task to potray. He is enthusiastic in romance portions, and more shrewd when it comes to investigation. He is a good imitator, making the originals look like duds. Another different film in his profile, as variety in just 8 films is quite commanding.
