Through the whole thing, it is quite illogical for Sarath to bring in Kamal into the discussion and mocking him etc. All KH did was to support a competing unit. Nothing more. நல்ல வேளை - இவரு அரசியல்ல சேர்ந்து (திமுக கூடெல்லாம் சேர முயற்சி செஞ்சார்!), MLA ஆயிருந்தா டண்டனக்க - இல்லை தப்பி தவறி, CM ஆயிருந்தா, Tamil nadu கதி பப்பரப்பா தான்.

It was Dr. Subramaniam Swamy who vehemently opposed the suggestion of including TN movie stars! Ppl may hate this man for his often eccentric stances, but his stringent opposition to include movie stars from TN into politics is nothing short of visionary..(I will change my view, if by any chance, Dr Swamy ends up getting movie stars into politics).

And so much for those who question Kamal's popularity the rest of India - Swachh Bharat campaign found him popular enough to include him in that list..

I take your point. Actually, more than the insults over the end, KH's support earlier to the Nasser/Vishal team meant a lot. Many times people say why KH is wasting time attending so many functions. But it helps broaden his reach and enlarge his friends/admirers/supporters. It is that support that lent credibility to the young team (Vishal & Karthi). Sarath was trying to portray these people as trouble makers and could have swayed the results his way if not for KH's support. It is only because he understood this, he began attacking Kamal in a more personal way. But is backfired even more. Sarath/Thanu were instrumental in pushing KH in a corner by extracting a written promise to do a cheaper film for Lingu on the eve of the release date. They created a lot of trouble for KH.

Frankly, I am not sure about Vishal either. He seems somewhat immature at times. Hope he learns to work under Nasser and not have internal fights within themselves in a few months/years!
