Vijay could get Kerala market fine. But he was never appreciated in Andhra (may be he was doing lots of mahesh babu remakes). Andhra market is much bigger than Kerala. Jilla did OK but it has mohanlal in it. Puli is also not a big hit. For some reason they did not release the dubbed version of kaththi in Andhra.
