ilayapuyal,
I think the Singapore law is doing the right thing, in arresting such a fellow and punishing him. Ofcourse, the culprit's conduct is shameful but the society need not feel any shame about punishing such idiot.
தப்புப்பண்ணினான் - தண்டனை கிடைக்கிறது. "வெட்கம் - வெட்கம்" என்று பொதுவாகச்சொல்ல அதிலென்ன இருக்கு?
Look at TN / India OTOH
People committing grossly immoral stuff in every walk of life get away scot free. Even when arrested, these goondas come out on bail and audacious to give TV interviews later on. (என் பெயரைக்கெடுக்க சதி...இத்யாதி)
Often police personnel are the ones committing crimes!
The whole society has to hang their heads down in shame there

MPs ask for (totally unjustified) salary raise and get it almost immediately. That people elect them - thinking that such frauds will work hard for them - is the biggest comedy in democracy!

Looks like these three 'bus burning killers' will continue to appeal / karuNai manu etc and not be punished for a couple more years
Already 10 years!
Who will be afraid to commit horrendous crimes like this, if judiciary delays things for years?
