I was recently on a call with some mEladhikaarigaL/client to put together a team for a short project. The timelines - no surprise- turned out to be impossibly tight. But the kaduppu was they were bringing up for comparison an earlier task which was done by another team much quicker. Just that the task was far less complicated and not at all an appropriate comparison. So my colleague and I ended the call agreeing to reconvene later on this topic. As soon I ended it my colleague remarked: "என் கிட்டயும் சைக்கிள் இல்லாதபோது வா..ஒரு ரூவாய்க்கு தரேன்"

Another instance of mine - though not on the similar lines. I was following up with a vendor to get some thing done immediately and he was held up with some conference and was not responding. I got that done by another one and the next day the first guy called me continuosly, but I disconnected. He sent me a message saying "I was held up on this and so ..." and I replied "Do it for another ten years"
