Suspense
What are the Tamil (and if possible Telugu) equivalents of 'suspense'?
Thanks.
Swarup
P.S. I tried this in a Telugu site and all the words I got are Samskrit words none quite equivalent to 'suspense'.

alwarpet, ennappaa idhu?
there isnt exact equivalent words between languages. thrill and suspense are close enough.
for instance try translating saaral to English.

saaral is neither shower nor drizzle.
drizzle is mazhai thooral
while shower is mazhai pEythal
heavy rain is mazhai kottuthal ![Very Happy](images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
of course there is the other shower which is kuliyal :P

is 'ooham' the word for suspense? 'marmam' comes very near. 'theriyaatha nilai/kattam'?
