Anushka’s choice is Ajith – TOI

Anushka Shetty’s Thaandavam opposite Vikram is all set to hit screens, but the buzz is that Anushka is doing Ajith’s 53rd film, which will be directed by Siva.
Anushka also has in hand Irandam Ulagam,Alex Pandian and Singam 2 and has been getting offers from other film industries as well. Anushka is now planning to keep her Telugu films on hold so that she can accommodate dates for Ajith’s film.

Ajith's film titled Vetri Kondaan?

The buzz in Kollywood is that Ajith's new film for Vijaya Vauhini, directed by 'Siruthai' Siva, is titled Vetri Kondaan.
Ajith is currently shooting for Vishnuvardhan's untitled film for producer A M Ratnam.

Ajith will start Siva's film only after he completes Vishnu's film, by the end of December.

But there is much excitement among Ajith fans, for this will be his 53rd film. Vetri Kondaan will have the hot and happening Anushka as its heroine.

Siva had narrated a one-line story to the star and he is said to have been impressed by it.

There were rumours that the film is a remake of Ravi Teja's Telugu hit, Daruvu, but the director has denied it.

"Ajith sir's film will be a mass entertainer and it is a new script, not the remake of Daruvu," said Siva. "It will have all the elements that his fans are looking for."

The latest buzz in the industry is that Ajith’s film with Siruthai Siva has been titled Vetri Kondaan. It’s being said that the title would depict Ajith’s rise to stardom in the industry. However, a bewildered Siva denies that he’s zeroed in on a title for the film yet!

He says, “I’m working on the final draft of the script. Though I have a few titles in mind, I will zero in on one only later.”

He adds, “We have plans of going on floors by November, and I’m thrilled that Ajith likes my script. He’s never interfered with my thought process, and has full faith in his team. Though it sounds clichéd, I must say Ajith has never played such a character before in his films.”

Interestingly, Ajith’s film with Vishnuvardhan is also yet to be titled. Looks like the actor wants to play it safe and announce the title just before the release!

SIMBU TO TEAM UP WITH AJITH!

This is the hottest buzz in the film industry today! Yes, Simbu and Ajith are soon going to join hands. Simbu, an ardent Ajith fan, had been requesting him for such an opportunity and Thala has given his assent, we hear.

Sources say that Ajith had spoken about this to director Siruthai Siva and has asked him to fit in Simbu in the script.

It may be mentioned here that Ajith is currently sharing the screen space with Arya in the film directed by Vishnuvardhan and now we have the news that he will be teaming up with Simbu.
