While his fellow MDs struggle to grab even black ladies aka filmfare trophies, I am at least happy to see ARR in the Kodak theatre year after year
On a side note, this has helped ARR to collaborate with many stalwarts for his subsequent works. Ann Marie, Jagger, Dido, Liz Phair, Orianti, etc.
I am not sure about the position he holds in Hollywood right now. And honestly, I am not too worried about that because I didn't expect him to be at the top all of a sudden. He did that here in India but Hollywood is a bigger ball game. Hope he makes careful strides to the top. No urgency.
I answered because you wanted one.

Oh man Ajay! All I asked is **what** Rahman achieved in hollywood all these years and with all those films he worked on. And I am asking what is his real status there and not your opinon on how he will do in later years
You are not sure about the position he holds in hollywood, and all that position was mainly becos of his winning of Academy award. So I am asking what opportunity did the Oscar winning bring him and how well did he make use of it. Athuve ungalukku unsure, appuram eppadi saar athai paathu orutharukku poraamai varum?!? Athuvum Raja poraamaippada enna irukku?? Avar thaan appavum kalakkinaar ippavum kalakkittu irukkaaru! Its Raja who is rejecting offers today and not that he is in receiving end. And needless to say his yesteryear content is proving to be an golden egg which is giving tons and tons of profit to FM Radios, Music channels, Concert organizers and much more. Ithellaam matha MDs can't think of, even after 10, 20 years. Appavum naama uyiroda thaan iruppom and we are gonna see that!
Now you will say you didn't mention Raja and its me who brought it. Solluveenga, ennaa neenga thaan buthisaalithanamaa, indirect aa kOrthu vittutteengaLe! Ungala sattaiya pudichi kekka mudiyaathu thaan!

See, w you are talking about Raja's opions, answers and we shud keep away his musical skills away. AThu vera ithu vera. Veruppai kottinaar nnu solreengaLe enna sonnaar, can you kindly quote?? Also read Raja thread where i posted the questions asked to Raja. They were wither totally mis quoted(asked in a wrong manner) or intentionally asked to irritate him. I mean, they were asked with a hidden statement that IR is jeleous of Rahman's growth and achievement. Rahman fans and Anti-Raja fans will comfortably leave out the question asked and always will try to play with Raja's answers, and misunderstand/mis-represent them.

I too agree with you. Its blaspemy to compare not just Rahman but any MD with Raja. And i have no issues with ur opinon too. Its ur right. But apart from offers/commercial-success/fame etc its critically agreed by many music reviewers from carnatic music industry, Bollywood stalwarts, All the contemporary MDs of South, and many more musically intelligent ppl that there just is no comparision or alternative for Raja's Talent.
Athai hit panna pOi thaane Srinivas E kooda, Fastest Brain, Vast Musical Knowledge nnu llaam solluraar?? Music Industry watchers very well know that Fastest Brain, Vast Musical Knowledge & Creativity are Child's play for Raja and till date there is no one who beats Raja in both Quantiy and Quality. This statement can be safely said along with agreeing all the achievements of Rahman. Both statements can live side by side and there is no issues at all. Just that When the experts say that there is no comparison for Raja, they very well excludes Rahman too from the already empty list! Also this statement in no way reduces the talent weight of Rahman, not makes fun or pun of criticizes Rahman's Excellence.
