Watched Thuppakki yesterday evening in Chrompet Vetri... really liked it..ARM fully used Vijay who can always be a safe bet for action movies.. Pre-interval sequence of sleeping cells ellAm pullarippu...
ARM has the knack of telling a story by not letting the audience to think much (you could not find certain plots illogical).
Of course, the movie has its own share of drawbacks - ARMpadatha mudichuttu ory thabA audience'a pAkkurathillayA... felt the same thing even in Ghajini / 7AM arivu...epdiyA indha padathula unakku 4 Duet vekka manasu varuthu.. it is almost certain that you may forget what happened earlier after each duet.. songs onnu kooda naala illa (incl google in which the saranam is straight rip-off from aachi manorama's portion in Madrasa sutthi (May maadham). The movie would have been much much better had all the 4 duets been cut. To my surprisem HJ faired well in important sequences. Still, he was clueless in the title track (reminds KK title track). Other technical aspects like cinematography, editing, stunts ellam nallA irunchu...
Overall, a neat action entertainer from ARM-Vijay
P.S: This is my 4th movie Chrompet Vetri. Earlier, I watched Endhiran, Naan E & Kalakalappu. So far, 4-0 for me as well as box office.
