dear adiram sir, whenever we think of NT the popping up film in our mind and heart will be Pasamalar though it is a black and white celluloid classic. It cannot be underrated for a rerelease in an improvised format though not color addition.films like Pasamalar, Pavamannippu, Paagappirivinai, Paalum Pazhamum, Parasakthi, Paarthaal Pasi
theerum, vietnaam veedu Pattikkada Pattanama, Motor Sundaram Pillai, Thookuthooki, deiva Magan.... all deserve rereleases in their original format as they stand immortal monuments our acting God NT. though not colored they are also equally enjoyable in a rerelease. VM is drastically different from Karnanin content and acting.Sameway Pudhiya Paravai and VPKB.Only anguish is our NT films should not be competitors wit each other!

My personal favourite would be Raja raja Chozhan though it did not do well originally it is considered as a cult classic now ( thanks to Raj Tv & DVD) also many of it may like its grandeur now
