I think you are looking at it only from your mindset and not even from your perception !
I think you should hear this song UNDERSTAND the crux of it which will give you some enlightenment...atleast towards Raja Raja Chozhan, Mirudhanga Chakravarthy etc.,

RajaRajaChozhan was never known for his greatest individual warrior-ship. He is known for his administration, handling issues in crisis, his contribution to society, his ideas to propagate chozha dynasty and its contribution to the society and people, social reforms, religious activities etc.,

If your expectation is a warrior-ship then the choice should be Karikaala chozhan !! He is the real stuntman !!

Please understand that it is not wrong or a crime for RajaRajaChozhan having a family and the film was taken about that as well..
