It was reported that she was suffering from cancer from past seven months and she was under palliative care in Alappuzha, Kerala. Now, it has been confirmed by our source that she is alive. It was reported that the hospital sources said that Kanaka was not showing any interest and denied meeting anyone. Kanaka was diagnosed with cancer in early January this year.
