Good Afternoon !
I think we have the right example infront of us.
We are thinking that we know everything and everything that we know are truth. But, we often fail to realise that there are things that we do not know too exists !
You said, you have been living in Thiruvottiyur for the past 40 years since the time you are born. But, Vellai Roja 100 days you were unable to recollect due to which you thought
Chinnathambi is the movie to run 100 days in that theater..
But now, after we came up with the paper advertisement of those days, you realized and there is no option now than to accept that Vellai Roja is the first film to run 100 days.
Many matters that we tend to argue has many things like this sir..
You had a doubt...you commented.....we put the proof and you accepted.
But, when we do something like this in MT thread, it is projected as a big issue and we are branded as trouble makers, we are trying to disturb the flow..etc., etc.,
Rule should be one for everybody isn't it sir ? am not trying to create a issue here..but am explaining to you that this is how things are taken there !
Regards
RKS

Thanks for your acceptance. We expect persons like you only.
Also tell your friends not to give false information to the public
For eg- we know very much AYIRATHIL ORUVAN HAS RAN 100 DAYS IN ONLY ONE THEATRE AT CHENNAI (GAIETY) whereas your friends published in magazines and flex boards that it has run 100 DAYS IN 3 THEATRES AT CHENNAI
ALWAYS TRUTH ONLY WILL ENTER INTO PEOPLE'S HEART
THANKS TO MR.SIVA for timely help

Dear Sir,
Let us not drag Ayiraththil Oruvan. The information that you mentioned is not right. Please check ..I think you are referring to another film. AO was released in Midland..not Gaiety.
During the first run, as mentioned by the other friends, AO had a 100 days run in 3 theaters in Chennai. All other areas, it had an above average run as per Mr.Pammalar.
Since there are 2 advertisements getting circulated in the thread, ONE ORIGINAL & ANOTHER ONE OWN CREATION, as per the ORIGINAL advertisement issued by Padmini Pictures and later on published here by Mr. Esvee, the ad mentioned " Thanks for making this successful 100 days. Considering the situation prevailing at this time in our country, it has been decided not to involve in celebrations.." in this line the advertisement was released. This advertisement however, did not have any theater information as to where it run 100 days etc.,
Going by Pammalar's dependable words, AO did enjoy 100 days run in Chennai - 3 theaters.
Thanks and Regards
