This is quite interesting.
The writer compares Baahubali with MGR's home production AdimaiPenn.
Surprisingly his comparisons are very correct and true to the facts.
The one line story of both the movies was how a slave queen was rescued by her son (who was the prince and got separated from her.)
The son acts in a duel roles as father and son in both the movies. There it was MGR in duel roles and in Baahubali it is Prabas.
Jayalalitha was the sweetheart of the prince who helps him in AdimaiPenn. Here it is Tamannaah.
Two main villains Manohar , Asokan & . Here Rana and Nazar.
Fight with real lion in Adimaippenn.
Fight with computer created bull in Baahubaali.
Adimaippenn was a great box office hit.. and according to Wikipedia it collected a whooping 2.30 crores in the year1969 when it was released. Convert it into today's money value, it will be nothing less than 350 crores.
Wow.. What a film maker was MGR..!
Hats off to him.

MGR நடித்து மாபெரும் வெற்றி பெற்ற அடிமைப்பெண் படத்துக்கும் பாஹுபாலி படத்துக்கும் உள்ள வியக்க வைக்கும் ஒற்றுமைகளை இங்கே நண்பர் விளக்குகிறார். கதை One line: அடிமைப் படுத்தப் பட்ட ராணியை மகன் மீட்கிறான்.

இங்கே அந்த வேடத்தில் தமன்னா.
அங்கே பதை பதைக்க வைக்க சிங்கத்துடன் MGR சண்டை.
இங்கே சிறு மாற்றத்துடன் கிராஃபிக்ஸ் எருதுடன் வில்லன் சண்டை.

அடிமைப்பெண் Collection Wikipedia செய்திப்படி 2 crores 30 lacs. இது உண்மையாகஇருந்தால் இன்றைய கணக்குப்படி 350 கோடி வரும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

Yesterday I saw Bahubaali, in fact I had written the same comments a few days ago based on the one line story line of Bahubaali.

It is Good worth watching on Big screen only. Many scenes reminds us of ADMAIPEN, water falls, Thalaivar and JJ escaping, fight with bull and Bahubali showing his strength by lifting Lingam etc. The only difference is Thalaivar action scenes were Original and now it is in graphics. We need to apprecaite the war scene, Admaipen last one hour full action so is the case over here last 45 minutes war scene.

P.S. : The reason as to why I posted the ticket is just to authenticate than I am in Abu Dhabi, not like what is happening elsewhere.
